Diano Marina heald the 2020 edition of Windfestival from 01st to 4th of October. But this year was a super windy edition of Windfestival, since all the western Italian coastline was bombed 4 days long by over 40 knots winds and heavy local rain squalls that caused big disease along the Ligurian coastline. Luckily the event organizer were able to manage the situation somehow and we had some nice Windfestival moments all together, anyway!

Windfestival is a classic Fall venue for Italian windsurfers to watch, touch and test all the new equipment coming from board sports industries. But this time was even too windy and the swell even too big and sometimes messy too.

Luckily for us, the conditions were not so difficult for our team rider Alex Mussolini and his friend Thomas Traversa who went on the water everyday, putting up a great show for the people looking from the beach.

Alex found at AV-Boards stand a brand new Dynamo Wave 78 and these are the words of our superstar after one of his full power session on the water:

“To come to Italy and to meet Aurelio was great but to have the opportunity to go on the water with my friend Thomas Traversa to play in front of the Windfestival crowd was even greater!
It was super-windy and I was often overpowered on my 4.0 and Dynamo 78. But despite the rough conditions we had, the Dynamo Wave 78 gave me always nice feelings on the water and makes everything super comfortable, allowing me to be always ready to do the right thing in the right place! It has been simply spectacular!”

Aurelio Verdi had the opportunity to show his toys and to meet windsurfers and friend at the expo, spreading some AV-Boards love around…

So all in all the AV-Boards Team come back home with some nice postcards  and good chats on the beach that for sure will help to see more and more AV-Boards in the water very soon!
