For 2027, the Modena speed series continues to evolve through years of testing, fine-tuning, and record-breaking performance at the Lüderitz speed challenge and in La palme. every size is built to deliver maximum speed, stability, and control — the essence of av-boards’ racing DNA.

The Speed range reaches a new level in 2027 with the introduction of the all-new Modena Speed 40, 43 and 46. Developed in close collaboration with French speed specialist Brendan Lorho (FRA-113), these new shapes are the direct result of months of testing, refinement, and invaluable feedback gained during his participation at the legendary Lüderitz Speed Challenge as well as Prince of Speed world championship. Every run, every adjustment, and every record attempt has contributed to shaping boards that deliver exceptional acceleration, stability, and control when every knot counts. Designed for riders chasing peak performance, the new Modena Speed 40 and 43 are built to unlock maximum speed while remaining confidence-inspiring in the most demanding conditions.

Modena 40 Lüderitz Edition :
The previous modena speed 40 Luderitz Edition remains in our catalog as the reference model, born directly from years of speed record development. it represents the purest combination of control, acceleration, and absolute top speed.

New Modena 40 :
The new modena speed 40 is born for European conditions, designed and tested in La palme France, it features a new shape with more volume and easier control than the LSC edition specifically designed for the canal. This redesign was built on 2 years of prototyping and testing in the most outrageous conditions with the main focus on bringing performance with easiness. Ain't speed without control.

Modena 43.
Wider outline, thicker rails and a few extra liters of volume compared to the LSC edition makes it the perfect weapon for your next speed record.

New Modena 43 :
Building on the foundation of the new 40, the 43 shares the same similar bottom shape and scoop line, with an even wider outline and tail, thicker rails, and of course a few liters of extra volume making it the perfect board for light to heavy weight rider. This board keeps tremendous speed through lull and other difficulties on the track to deliver outstanding speed over long distance like Nautical Miles attempt.

New Modena 46 :
The 46 based on the old 45, is the perfect weapon for medium to strong wind speed competitions, delivering lift, drive, and total control at the limit. It includes a new recessed deck while conserving the ultra performant rocker and shape.

Modena 52 :
The Modena speed 52 evolves further, maintaining the same base concept as the 45 but with a slightly deeper tail v for improved control and comfort in choppy open-water conditions. the extra deep concave deck lowers the stance, increasing stability and momentum through lulls, keeping the board perfectly trimmed and fast.
