NX-Core represents the alliance of advanced composite engineering and intelligent material placement. By combining Carbon fiber and S-Glass in a refined sandwich construction, NX-Core delivers the ultimate balance of strength, stiffness, flexibility, and weight reduction.
At the heart of NX-Core lies a variable-density core, reinforced with targeted Carbon layers in critical load and impact zones.
Carbon fiber, significantly stronger and stiffer than S-Glass, is strategically used where maximum rigidity and power transfer are required — along the rails, around the mast track, footstrap areas, fin boxes, and landing zones at the tail. This ensures explosive acceleration, instant response, and outstanding structural integrity under extreme loads.
The rest of the board is built using S-Glass, a lighter and more flexible fiber that enhances comfort and control. This controlled flex allows the board to absorb chop, follow the wave naturally in surfing conditions, and deliver a smoother, more forgiving ride without sacrificing performance. S-Glass also contributes significantly to overall weight reduction.
Thanks to this intelligent Carbon / S-Glass sandwich construction, all NX-Core boards are 400–600 grams lighter, offering earlier planing, faster acceleration, sharper control, and superior feel on the water.
